Remembrance Day is a special day to remember the brave souls that have sacrificed their lives for our country whilst serving in many past conflicts. With the Royal British Legion close to the hearts of our team here at Hadley and Ottaway, we have taken the decision to show our full support for such a heart-felt cause by brandishing giant poppies on our fleet of vans used for removals Norwich in the lead up to November 11th.
The Royal British Legion currently produce around 40 million poppies a year and the funds raised from the sales of these poppies contribute to ensuring the welfare of brave soldiers who have suffered as a result of fighting for our country. At present, funds raised by the Royal British Legion contribute towards setting up rehabilitation centres across the country for servicemen and women past and present who have suffered horrific injuries and trauma whilst serving the country.
With the close-by RAF Watton Airfield acting as a constant reminder of the sacrifices many individuals have made for our country in the past, here at Hadley and Ottaway we are offering our full support to the Royal British Legion as they seek funding to support the families of those who have fallen.
By brandishing giant poppies on our removals vans, we aim to raise awareness of the need to support such a selfless organisation. Here at Hadley and Ottaway, we understand that we are living in tough financial times, but if people see our giant poppies and can spare some change for the Royal British Legion, then we will be extremely happy.
