REMOVALS PORTERS

Are you looking to be part of a dynamic and reputable removals team? We are a well-established and successful removal company and we are seeking a motivated and reliable member to join our growing business. The depot is based in Watton, Norfolk and this will be the main base for work. As a removals porter you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient moves for our customers and part of the removals crew. You will be responsible for the safe packing, loading and delivering of household goods at the same time as delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Valid license
• Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
• Experience within the removals industry desirable but not essential
• Ability to work as a part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a positive attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good at working to tight schedules
• Good attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights away if required (subsistence paid)
• Excellent hourly rates of pay guaranteed 50 hours (+ overtime) with wages being paid fortnightly
• 28 days holiday plus a full uniform and safety footwear is provided. 

Responsibilities of the role

• Warehouse duties
• Looking after vehicles
• Ensuring all packing materials/equipment is on vehicle for job
• Packing assorted household effects
• Loading/unloading of vehicle
• Dismantling/reassembling of furniture
• Liaising with customers whilst carrying out the move
• Completing of company documentation
• Health and Safety
